Overview

A joined-up filing service for businesses and individuals

Tax returns are most reliable when the underlying accounts, income records and supporting schedules agree. Problems often arise when different returns are prepared in isolation or important information is only identified close to the deadline.

CBM Accounting coordinates the relevant filings, gathers information early and maintains a clear review trail. We explain the calculation, obtain approval before submission and retain a record of the assumptions, claims and supporting documents used.

Frequently asked questions

Questions clients often ask

Every situation is different. These answers provide a practical starting point, and we confirm the position after reviewing the facts.

Ask our team a question
What types of tax return can you prepare?

We prepare Company Tax Returns, Self Assessment returns and partnership returns, together with related computations and schedules. More specialist filings are assessed separately.

How early should I send my records?

As early as practical after the relevant period ends. Early records allow time to resolve missing information, consider reliefs and plan for the tax payment rather than merely meeting the filing deadline.

Can you prepare several connected returns together?

Yes. Coordinating company, director, partnership or family-related returns can improve consistency where income, dividends, loans, allocations or transactions overlap.

What if a return has already been filed incorrectly?

We review the original filing and supporting records, quantify the correction and advise whether an amendment, disclosure or other HMRC communication is required.

Will you remind me about payment dates?

We provide the payment information arising from the return and can include deadline reminders within the ongoing service. Responsibility for ensuring funds are available and payment is made remains with the taxpayer.
